The Research
A 2023 peer-reviewed study found intensive use of all-in-one tracking apps significantly increases anxiety, depression, and OCD symptoms in new mothers and weakens the instinctive bond between mother and baby.
The same study found that mothers who tracked minimally had significantly better mental health outcomes and stronger bonds with their babies.
